Kew East Primary School is dedicated to providing a learning environment rich in experiences for all students.  We are very proud of our high quality specialist, enrichment and support programs that cater for the interests, abilities and talents of each individual child.

Specialist teaching programs include Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Sport, Languages Other than English (Italian) and Library. These programs are all outstanding in their design, curriculum content and delivery

Our focus on the Visual Arts and Performing Arts is clearly evident with regular student art displays and a Whole School musical that is held every two years. Our school assemblies are another opportunity for student participation and performance.  This provides students with opportunities to develop self confidence and reinforces our school values of respect, relationships, responsibility and resilience.

We are very fortunate to offer learning support for students. This support is provided for Literacy and Numeracy in the Early Years through the Reading Recovery Program and the Numeracy Intervention Program.

The Student Leadership Program provides students with leadership opportunities and responsibilities in an effort to improve student engagement and connectedness to the school community.  These opportunities include Junior School Council, Student Committees, the Buddy Program, School Ambassadors, Sports Captains and Classroom Monitors.
